This is my second car from Carbase and the only reason I returned to be on safe hands in case something goes wrong since buying a used car can be very frustrating. With my first car, thankfully i had no issue so did not need to deal with aftersales at all. but with the new car, one week after I picked the car engine management light came on and I reported straight away. it was Saturday and Monday was bank holiday so I thought it may not be quick but I chased everyday from Tuesday, logged two complaints, texts, raising with sales person but no response at all. I had to take it to a local garage for diagnosis and find out what is wrong and it appears to be a temperature sensor needs to be replaced (hopefully if not something else). I have been chasing since then still nothing, it has been 2 weeks nearly. The sales, sales people all went well but this is you can get from any seller. The reason people come to Carbase is to get peace of mind after purchase. Unfortunately, the first time i needed it, you have not provided it and only today i called three times and texts, but nothing. i am not sure if anything will change but I am still waiting for a response. But under these conditions, I regret that i cannot and will not recommend carbase to any one!

I would not recommend Carbase Bristol because the car was faulty upon driving it away, which has subsequently been fixed but it left me without a car for 4 weeks. Also the salesperson, Matt, was disinterested in me as a customer, openly stating he left me waiting longer than planned because he wanted to watch the horse racing instead! He was very blasé and dismisive about the whole thing. It left me feeling as though I was an inconvenience. However, his manager Tony and colleague Ra'id (who did the handover) were very good.

My experience at Carbase Bristol could have been better because so many mistakes were made throughout my experience of buying a car and part exchanging mine. Too many to list here. I will be lodging a complaint via the complaints procedure.

I would not recommend Carbase Bristol because I have a serious problem with the car, as about half an hour after I bought the car the engine failure light came on, so I took it to an authorized RAC mechanic and he told me that the car has too many errors and the warranty does not cover, I tried several times to contactdealership in this case Carbase but to date no one has let me know anything.I feel abandoned and ripped off by the dealership.

The car I purchased has a fault that was immediately apparent. Despite days of me repeatedly contacting your company, no one from your after sales team has bothered to ring me back. Thoroughly disgusted with your company.

Ray, who sold me the car, was knowledgeable and friendly and I was happy with the service he provided. The car I purchased broke down less than 24 hours after I drove off the forecourt. Half of the time the phone lines don’t work and an automated voice says nobody is available with no option to wait in a queue or request a call back, false promises about when the car would be rescued resulting in me having to miss a days work unpaid and the car being stuck for 2 days where it broke down, communication has been terrible and generally have been left feeling incredibly upset and frightened to drive my car. I picked up the car after the repairs today and nobody could tell me what the problem was or even tell me what work had been done. I was going to make a formal complaint but I don’t feel like Carbase would care enough to do anything to make it right and I’ve already countless hours on this I don’t think it’s even worth it

I would not recommend Carbase Bristol because I was told that my warranty period would be for 18 months (6 months owners club subscription + 12 months RAC), But the online portal its only shows a warranty for 12 months. I have contacted car base services, and they said I would get a callback, but I have not heard from them yet. Also, my rear wiper blade is not working properly, which I mentioned during my vehicle collection, and they said they would sort that out, but they have not done so yet. I am very dissatisfied.

My experience at Carbase Bristol could have been better because after sales doesn't exist problems don't get sorted 4 phone calls to complain and 4days to service department to call back with earliest appointment over 4 weeks time so more damage could be done to the gear box/clutch
